The Aspen Medical Foundation has announced two recipients of its 2025 Fiji Health Workforce Capacity Scholarships, providing full support for postgraduate study in neonatal care.

The Aspen Medical-managed Ba Hospital in Fiji has taken a significant leap forward with the addition of a Computer Tomography (CT) scanner, which will greatly benefit patients from Ba, Tavua, and the neighbouring areas of Rakiraki.

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated Australia’s need for accessible, consistent virtual health services. Aspen Medical was initially engaged by a national government health agency to support urgent pandemic response efforts, providing clinical triage, remote patient monitoring and critical health advice to the public.

No two days are the same for Aspen Medical Virtual Health Clinician Jack Davies. As an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) supporting a national triage service, he may be supporting new parents, unsure of whether their baby’s symptoms are serious or not, provide first aid advice for a cut finger, engage in a triage assessment for an elderly caller who has suffered a fall or use his clinical decision making to assess respiratory symptoms. The situations are wide and varied.
