Aspen Medical has been appointed as a preferred supplier to provide medical support to units of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) training across Australia.

The company will be providing doctors, nurses, intensive care paramedics and patient transfer vehicles as required.

“We are delighted to have won this contract following a competitive tender process,“ said Glenn Keys AO, Executive Chairman and Founder of Aspen Medical.

“We are proud to be supporting our servicemen and women since 2004. Our expertise in delivering world class healthcare in remote and challenging environments has seen us working with the ADF overseas in Solomon Islands, East Timor and the Gulf region, and at Defence bases and remote training locations across Australia,” he added.

Aspen Medical is a leader in the provision of healthcare delivery, equipment and training to Defence Forces across the globe. We have provided training to the Vietnamese military in support of UN peacekeeping duties and also to the Defences Forces of the UAE and South Sudan. We provided mobile deployable hospital facilities to the UAE military and medical equipment to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), as well as providing vital medical equipment and training to the UN Mission in Timor (UNMIT).  We also provide Care of Battle Casualties training in the UAE to ADF personnel deploying to the Middle East and Central Asia.

In addition to supporting the ADF on training exercises we deliver healthcare to 80,000 personnel at 52 bases across Australia.
