We’re building a workplace where people with disability are supported, respected and empowered to thrive.
Our approach is informed by lived experience, practical action and the belief that inclusion strengthens everything we do. We want every team member to have the tools to succeed, shape their role and grow with confidence.
Recognising all abilities
Disability may be physical, sensory, neurological, psychosocial or intellectual—visible or non-visible, temporary or permanent. We take time to understand how disability may affect your work experience and remove barriers through adjustments, flexibility and open dialogue.
How we support you
We offer tailored workplace adjustments such as assistive tech, flexible hours or task modifications, based on your role and needs. These are reviewed regularly to stay relevant and effective. Our recruitment and onboarding processes are accessible by design, with adjustments available throughout. Once you’ve joined, we offer ongoing support including individual career planning, learning pathways, mentoring and access to a peer-led disability support group. Employees can also shape inclusive practices through our Disability Inclusion Working Group.
Global inclusion in action
Across our operations in Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, we maintain a consistent commitment to disability inclusion. Our Disability Inclusion Advisor ensures accessible practices across recruitment, training and workplace design, tailored to regional context and shaped by local partners.
In the Pacific, we’ve partnered with local agencies to deliver employment programs for people with disability, including a successful pilot for visually impaired participants transitioning into paid roles. In complex field environments, our inclusive workforce enhances the design and delivery of care. By enabling meaningful participation, we ensure services reflect the needs of diverse communities.
A commitment led from the top
Disability inclusion is championed across Aspen Medical’s leadership. Our founding team brings personal insight and drives strategic action across recruitment, policy and development. The Disability Inclusion Working Group informs planning and ensures accountability. Leaders regularly review progress and invest in training to foster inclusive teams.
Our commitment also extends to the community. Through long-term initiatives like Project Independence, we support people with intellectual disability to achieve greater autonomy and home ownership.
At Aspen Medical, disability inclusion isn’t a standalone initiative—it’s embedded in how we lead, how we operate and how we support every team member to thrive.
