Beyond our workforce

Care shaped by the people we serve

Care shaped by the people we serve

We embed inclusion into the way we deliver care. Our teams work alongside communities to understand their needs and ensure services are designed with local knowledge, culture and priorities in mind.

In Australia, our Reconciliation Action Plan guides long-term partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations. We provide scholarships, support local employment and deliver remote health programs through trusted community-led models. Around the world, we hire and train local workforces wherever possible and co-design programs that reflect the lived experience of the people we serve.

The Aspen Medical Foundation extends this impact by investing in underrepresented groups through scholarships, training and targeted health initiatives. From youth health programs in regional towns to postgraduate clinical placements in the Pacific, we back solutions that are created with, and for, communities.

Wherever we operate, our goal is to deliver care that is inclusive, sustainable and shaped by the people it supports.

Inclusion in action

How we build an inclusive workplace for a global workforce

We foster a culture where everyone can contribute, grow and belong. Our inclusive workforce is shaped by real voices, shared values and a commitment to equity across every team and location.

Hiring with purpose
We build teams that reflect the people and places we work with. Our hiring practices are inclusive by design. Lived experience ensures our care and workplace are informed and respectful.

Designing better ways of working
Our people influence how policies, programs and environments are designed. From disability access to cultural protocols and flexible work, we embed inclusion into how we work every day.

Bringing culture to life
Employees lead events, campaigns and peer groups that strengthen inclusion. These efforts create connection, celebrate identity and help build a workplace where everyone belongs.
Supporting diverse talent

Creating space for all abilities

We embed accessibility into our roles, systems and culture from the start. Through inclusive design, tailored adjustments and active support, we ensure team members with disability can fully participate, contribute and grow. Our approach to disability inclusion is guided by clear principles and practical action, helping us create accessible, respectful and enabling workplaces for people of all abilities.

Championing careers for veterans

We value the leadership, adaptability and skills that veterans bring. At Aspen Medical, veterans work across clinical and corporate roles, supported by structured pathways, peer networks and purpose-led work. Our veteran program helps you transition confidently and continue contributing in meaningful, mission-driven environments.
