John is an experienced executive leader with a career spanning listed companies, private enterprises, and multinational firms across Australia and Asia. As Chief Financial Officer at Aspen Medical, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health, leading its financial and accounting functions, and working closely with the Executive team to provide strategic insights, safeguard assets, and drive sustainable growth across global operations.
With a deep understanding of financial governance, John has led strategic and cultural transformation programs in diverse commercial and not-for-profit environments. His expertise includes tailoring financial and governance processes for organisations operating in both mature and developing markets, including remote locations and culturally complex settings.
John spent two decades in both Indonesia and Singapore, holding senior leadership roles in listed and large family-owned businesses as well as global accounting firms. His experience in these markets has shaped his ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and implement best-practice governance structures.
A seasoned board director with experience on national and international boards, John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (FCA) and the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA). He holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from Queensland University of Technology and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

As Chief Operating Officer for Aspen Medical, Andrew is responsible for overseas operations and the financial performance of Aspen Medical entities globally.
Andrew is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in operations and program management within Australia and overseas.
He led Aspen Medical’s response to COVID-19 through the delivery of National telehealth and vaccination services.
Andrew had a proud military career including command of a multi-national group in Iraq, and operational experience working in Central Europe, the Pacific, Asia and the Middle East.

Emily is a seasoned human resource executive with over 15 years of experience spanning various public and private sectors, including transport, defence and healthcare.
As the General Manager of Culture and Performance at Aspen Medical, Emily directs global HR initiatives and leads the creation and implementation of sophisticated workforce systems. Her innovative approach to people management and recruitment strategies significantly enhances the employee experience and promotes organisational excellence.
Holding a Master's in Human Resource Management, Emily is adept at developing and implementing HR strategies. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, organisational design, leadership development, process improvement and establishing and executing robust employee value propositions.

Al is a senior executive with extensive experience across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors in Australia, West Africa, UK/Europe, and the Middle East. Al has a strong background in managing complex commercial and stakeholder environments, delivering high-value programs, corporate governance, and risk management. Before re-joining Aspen Medical in 2022, Al served in the Victorian Public Service as Deputy CEO of a safety regulator and Associate Deputy Secretary for various health programs. Al is also an Australian Army veteran deployed in JTF 652, Operation Vic Fire Assist, and CTF 635, Operation Anode.
In his previous role at Aspen Medical, Al successfully managed a region within a national Defence health service, served as the Country Director for Sierra Leone during the Ebola Outbreak crisis of 2014-2015, and led Aspen Medical UK before becoming General Manager of Aspen Medical Middle East.
Al holds a Global Executive Master of Business Administration from Monash University, a Master of Leadership with a major in Change Management and a Bachelor of Training and Development from the University of New England. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and serves as Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chairperson of Nadrasca, a Melbourne disability organisation.

Michelle is an accomplished senior legal executive, having developed extensive experience from her previous roles across private practice, in-house legal roles, and the federal government. Over the last five years at Aspen Medical, she has been pivotal in steering the organisational strategic planning, risk management, regulatory and legal compliance, and corporate governance.
Before entering the legal field, Michelle completed a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering in the US and worked for ten years as a structural engineer on projects across Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
Michelle completed her Juris Doctor degree from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2006. During her studies, she completed an internship in patent law before relocating to Australia in 2011. She is currently a registered lawyer in both Australia and the USA.

Dr Sanders is renowned for her expertise in strategic healthcare management, particularly in challenging and dynamic environments. With leadership and experience spanning the military, law enforcement, emergency services, government and private sectors, Dr Sanders possesses a unique skill set that empowers her to champion medical excellence and drive quality enhancements in healthcare on a global scale.
Highly regarded for her skills and knowledge in the governance and management of health operations, Dr Sanders is the recipient of the Australia Day Achievement Medallion 2019 and 2021.
Holding a Master of Public Health, Dr Sanders is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Security and Health Executive Leadership Institute. She is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds several national and international board appointments. As a healthcare leader, she has authored many healthcare-related papers and is a prominent speaker nationally and internationally.

Craig is an accomplished business executive with extensive experience in project planning, development, implementation, and financial management in Australia and overseas. He has proven business acumen in national and international negotiated contracts.
Twenty years in the Australian Department of Defence has provided Craig with deep expertise and understanding in operations and management. He has successfully delivered on projects requiring skills and expertise for end-to-end health service delivery, infrastructure, and management of diverse resources across various service lines.
Starting as an in-country manager in the Solomon Islands, Craig’s leadership and in-depth knowledge of effective and efficient operations have seen him advance through various significant roles across the organisation.
Passionate about making a difference in society, Craig has held several not-for-profit board appointments and is a business mentor to numerous social enterprises across Australia and Internationally. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer at Aspen Medical Foundation for the last 15 years.
Craig is an Australian Institute of Company Directors graduate with a Master of Management from the University of Canberra.

Matt is a seasoned executive with extensive operational experience in managing complex health services around the globe and is passionate about developing solutions to improve the lives of others, particularly those in remote or under-resourced regions.
He leads the design, communication, and implementation of Aspen Medical’s corporate strategy, ensuring it aligns with corporate governance and its values. Matt also oversees the end-to-end healthcare infrastructure and innovative healthcare solutions business across the Asia-Pacific region, including Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.
A strong advocate for shared values and a belief that for-profit companies can have a positive social impact on the communities and the environments in which they operate, Matt is a practised Company Director with many years of experience supporting boards within Australia and abroad.
Matt is studying for a Master of Business Administration and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing. He has also completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.

Before joining Aspen Medical, John led teams in a variety of service-based companies, always striving to deliver exceptional service to his customers.
John holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney and an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School. He actively participates in the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) health committee and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
