The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) held its annual awards ceremony in Hobart, Tasmania, on Tuesday 13 October 2015.

Our Ebola Response project on behalf of the Australian and US governments in Sierra Leone and Liberia respectively won the Internationally Funded Humanitarian Aid category at the AIPM Project Management Achievement Awards.  This company progressed to the national finals having already won the ACT Chapter Project of the Year 2015.

According to Glenn Keys AO, Executive Chairman Founder of Aspen Medical, "Entering the Project Management Achievement Awards has been a unique opportunity for us to document the world class project our team was able to deliver in West Africa.  On behalf of the Australian and US governments, we were able to deliver a project that literally saved many lives.

"We feel honoured to have won this award, especially in the company of other world class Australian projects.  On behalf of the entire Aspen Medical team involved in the delivery of this project, I thank the Australian Institute of Project Management for their kind recognition."

Aspen Medical will now go forward to represent Australia in the humanitarian category at the Asia Pacific Project Management Awards in November in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
