Following a competitive tender process, Australian-owned Aspen Medical has been appointed to provide jet air ambulance services on behalf of Queensland Health.

The five-year contract, with an option to extend to seven years, covers Queensland and Norfolk Island. The service will be provided from our Brisbane Airport base.

Aspen Medical will be using a Lear 60 aircraft provided by our aviation partner, Avcair.

"Our continuing commitment to Queensland Health and the broad range of stakeholders who rely on our life-saving service can only be achieved through the dedication and professionalism of our experienced clinicians, pilots and innovative support team.  We are proud to once again be selected by Queensland Health as a trusted service provider", said Steve Nelson, Aspen Medical Director - Retrieval Services.

Aspen Medical has been providing air ambulance services to communities across Queensland since 2018.

This contract win follows on from the recent competitive tender won by Aspen Medical to continue to provide air ambulance services to companies in the oil and gas sector in Western Australia.
