Applying for registration to work as a healthcare professional in Australia is the first step to working with Aspen Medical. The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is the governing body for all clinical registrations
The Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA) has approved the following steps for you to get registered:
- Criminal history
- English language skills
- Recency of practice
- Professional indemnity insurance arrangements.
Step 1: Check whether your qualifications are in line with Australia’s contemporary approach to education
If your qualifications do not align with AHPRA requirements, you are unlikely to gain registration in Australia. Continue to Step 2 if you have the appropriate qualifications.
Step 2: Complete the Criminal History Check
International Criminal History Check
Step 3: If you come from a non-English speaking country, take the International English Language Test. This is required to get registration in Australia
