You are eligible to apply if you:
- are living with a disability
- reside in Fiji
- meet the entry requirements for, and be accepted into (or eligible to enrol in), a health-related course at a recognised university in Fiji.
- are committed to completed a health-related qualification.
What can you study?
The scholarship supports any health-related qualification offered by a recognised university in Fiji. This may include (but is not limited to):
- Nursing
- Medicine
- Public Health
- Allied Health (e.g. physiotherapy, radiography, laboratory sciences)
- Health administration or other relevant healthcare fields.
How to apply
To complete your application, you’ll need:
- a personal statement (up to 500 words)
- why you chose this qualification.
In your personal statement, please include information about:
- your family and community
- your interests and career motivation
- your reason for choosing a health-related qualification
- your goals for the future.
The form takes around 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
As the form cannot be saved partway through, we suggest preparing your information before you begin.
Frequently asked questions
We recognise disability as a broad and inclusive term. This may include physical, sensory, intellectual, neurological or psychosocial disabilities. If your condition impacts your daily life or learning, you are encouraged to apply.
While the scholarship provides financial assistance, universities in Fiji may also offer additional student support services such as accessibility services, academic support and counselling. We encourage you to contact your chosen university for more information.
Yes. We strongly encourage applications from individuals who may need additional support. The scholarship aims to reduce barriers and promote inclusive education.

To remain eligible, you must maintain a pass average in your studies to continue to meet the requirements of the scholarship.
Any changes to your enrolment must be discussed with the Aspen Medical Foundation before they are made. We will review your eligibility and confirm whether the scholarship can continue.
Yes. If you're still eligible and continuing your studies, you can submit another application in future rounds.
