Andrew is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in operations and program management within Australian and overseas. He led Aspen Medical’s response to COVID-19, delivering the national telehealth and vaccination services. Andrew had a proud military career, including command of a multi-national group in Iraq and operational experience working in Central Europe, the Pacific, Asia, and the Middle East.

Al brings a wealth of experience in complex commercial and stakeholder environments across public and private sectors in Australia and internationally. His previous roles include the Country Director for Sierra Leone during the 2014 and 2015 West Africa Ebola crisis, Aspen Medical country lead UK, General Manager of Aspen Medical Middle East, and Associate Deputy Secretary of COVID-19 Response and Resilience in the Victorian Public Service. Al is also an Australian Army veteran, having served in both a full-time and a part-time capacity between 2002 and 2015.
