Dr Katrina Sanders is the Group Chief Medical Officer for Aspen Medical and is renowned for her expertise in strategic healthcare management, particularly in challenging and dynamic environments. Dr Sanders is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, has a master’s degree in public health, and is the recipient of two Australia Day Achievement Medallion’s in recognition of her contribution to healthcare. With leadership and experience spanning the military, government, and private sectors, Dr Sanders possesses a unique skill set that empowers her to champion medical excellence in diverse and complex settings. Driven by her commitment to advancing healthcare standards, Dr Sanders plays a pivotal role in shaping the dynamics and enhancing the quality of healthcare on a global scale.

Al brings a wealth of experience in complex commercial and stakeholder environments across public and private sectors in Australia and internationally. His previous roles include the Country Director for Sierra Leone during the 2014 and 2015 West Africa Ebola crisis, Aspen Medical country lead UK, General Manager of Aspen Medial Middle East, and Associate Deputy Secretary of COVID-19 Response and Resilience in the Victorian Public Service. Al is also an Australia Army veteran, having serviced in both a full-time and part-time capacity between 2002 and 2015.

Kelly-Ann King is the Deployable Health Capability Lead at Aspen Medical. Kelly-Ann leverages her extensive experience in project management, operations, logistics and clinical service delivery to drive successful outcomes. Her expertise is rooted in a distinguished 26-year career as a full-time member of the Australia Army, where she developed her skills and continues to serve as a reservist. Additionally, as a Registered Nurse, Kelly-Ann has a strong background in healthcare, which she seamlessly integrates into deployable health capability management role. Her diverse skill set, and dedication make her a highly valued professional in both the military and civilian sectors.

Andrew Parnell
Andrew Parnell is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of experience spanning the logistics, supply chain, emergency services and health sectors across Australia. He has extensive expertise in leading industry partnerships, managing service delivery contracts and overseeing government and commercial engagements for both commercial and not-for-profit health and emergency service providers. Throughout his career, Andrew has successfully led major initiatives, including implementing various COVID-19 health emergency services, securing Federal Government grant funding for emergency aviation expansion in the Northern Territory, and negotiating high-level contracts with the Federal Government and the US Department of Defence. Andrew has played a key role in health solutions design, innovation and technology adoption to enhance public health outcomes while contributing to international development projects in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Fiji.
