Ethan was appointed President of Aspen Medical USA in June 2024, following his role as Vice President of Business Development. Under his leadership, Aspen Medical has expanded its operations with the United States Government, delivering behavioural health support for US service personnel and advancing medical service delivery and training programs in Poland, Ukraine and Haiti. He has led the company’s expansion of healthcare services into the extractives industry across South America and West Africa and directed the transition of an intergovernmental organisation hospital in Somalia under Aspen Medical’s management.

Earlier in his career with Aspen Medical, as Chief Operating Officer of our international operations, Ethan led global teams across multiple projects, including medical staffing, aviation services, disaster response and overseas training programs. He was instrumental in establishing primary and emergency healthcare operations in several African countries and played a key role in supporting USAID’s Ebola response in Liberia.

Before his civilian career, Ethan served as a commissioned officer in the Life Guards, the senior regiment of the British Army. He completed both peacekeeping and combat tours in the Balkans and Iraq, gaining firsthand experience in crisis management and complex international operations.

Ethan is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s executive program and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He holds a degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
