We provide a broad range of healthcare services to support significant Mining & Resources operations in Australia including Primary Healthcare, Emergency Health, Environmental Health and Occupational Health. The broad categories include activities such as 24/7 medical evacuation services, 24/7 e-Medicine consultation, pre-employment medical assessments, drug and alcohol testing and the provision of medical equipment and consumables.

Aspen Medical was contracted by Roy Hill Iron Ore Pty Ltd to provide integrated healthcare services to the Roy Hill Project. This contract encompassed an iron ore mine, 344 km of heavy rail and a port facility at Port Hedland. The deposit is located north of Newman, at the eastern end of the Chichester Range in the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia.  This contract built on our expertise providing the mining sector with tailored healthcare solutions in remote and challenging environments.

Aspen Medical delivers healthcare across mining sites in accordance with all Federal and State legislated standards.  For example, in Queensland  we operate in accordance with Queensland Standard 11 Competency for Coal Surface Mining and Underground Mining, as well as operating in accordance with the Queensland Coal Mine Workers’ Health Scheme. We hold poisons licences in each state to support high-quality healthcare delivery.

We have also been providing award-winning Aero-Medical Evacuation (AME) services in to the WA-based Resources industry for a number of years. Our AME service employs both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, specialist medical teams and aircrew.
