Aspen Medical named as one of Australia's Best Places to Work

Aspen Medical has been named as one of the best places to work in Australia on the Australian Financial Review Best Places to Work List 2021.

Conducted by Inventium on behalf of the AFR, Inventium’s Workplaces of the Future Framework is based on decades of scientific research into the most important drivers of employee engagement and motivation at work. The framework represents three levels of engagement across the three key drivers of motivation: Autonomy, Mastery and Connectedness.

Organisations are assessed using data collected during the assessment period of the 2021 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work competition. Data was collected using the employee survey and HR questionnaire (via the awards platform).

Aspen Medical outscored the healthcare industry overall in terms of Purpose, Wellbeing and Equality.

Maricel Giorgioni, Director of Culture & Performance at Aspen Medical, said, "We would like to thank our team for taking part in the survey. We are delighted to have done so well in areas that mean so much to us as a company and where we have invested heavily over the years - Purpose, Wellbeing and Equality. We know we have work to do elsewhere across the framework to reach even higher on the list, and we'll do that.

"We are a rapid response company delivering life-saving healthcare in often complex environments so doing some of the things that others have the luxury of doing, such as guaranteeing wind down time or moving to a 4-day week or 9-day fortnight are not really options open to us. But what we can guarantee is job satisfaction through challenging and rewarding work that makes a real difference with a company that has social purpose at its core."
