Seeking expressions of interest for the role of Placement Consultant, within Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) in the Canberra office.  RAHC is a subsidiary of Aspen Medical and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health under The Indigenous Australians' Health Programme: Stronger Futures Northern Territory to contribute to "address persistent challenges to accessing primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait people in the Northern Territory".

Experience, qualifications and documentation required: 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with candidates regarding availability for placements and provide on-going care with the goal of repeat or additional placements for the individuals and communities
  • Develop long term relationships with clients by building an understanding of their structure, culture, hiring needs and preferences
  • Respond to specific client resourcing requirements and supplying carefully selected shortlists of suitably skilled candidate
  • Provide potential candidates with information relating to placements
  • Coordinate and manage the placement process for Oral Health and Ear Health Professionals
  • Process timesheets
  • Represent RAHC at conferences and exhibitions in a professional manner providing appropriate information and developing relationships to attract and recruit suitable health professionals.
