Emergency Services Officer

Expressions Of Interest (EOI)

Aspen Medical is seeking expressions of interest for an Emergency Services Officer to undertake regular inspections of work site areas and equipment to ensure safe operations and a timely emergency response.

  • your return travel will be provided by Aspen Medical from a major airport to your deployment location
  • your annual leave will be 4 weeks
  • your superannuation will be 9.5%
  • the roster is generally a 28-day deployment with 15 days on/13 days off.
Experience, qualifications and documentation required: 
  • Certificate IV Health Care Ambulance
  • Certificate III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
  • current "HR" Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain same)
  • 3 years’ experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine environment
  • experience in incident investigation and reporting
  • working knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations
  • effective delivery of training materials
  • auditing or inspecting experience
  • good skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • high level of effective communication, written and verbal
  • strong record keeping and presentation skills.
