Aspen Aged Healthcare (AAHC), a subsidiary of the Aspen Medical Group contracted to provide ACERT and ACCESS on behalf of the Australian Government, has been asked by the Commonwealth Government to establish an emergency interim staffing capability to assist Aged Care Services (Residential and In the Home) where the usual workforce has been impacted by the 2020 COVID19 outbreak.
We are seeking Deployment Coordinator to act as the key liaison between AAHC and the Commonwealth to agree and implement this program of placements.
A positive outcome from the activities of this role would include:
- managing deployments to COVID19 outbreaks efficiently, with appropriate skills and structured teams deployed
- ensuring that there is strong communication between the AAHC Head Office team, the Clinical First Responders, and other senior staff leading each deployment, and the facility operators
- ensuring that new staff added to the AAHC workforce is fit for purpose and possess strong skill sets
- ensuring that the standing workforce of AAHC and the other workforce suppliers are well utilised, with placements identified in advance and implemented efficiently.
