Description

Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aspen Medical focused on providing healthcare in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting HPs in a clinical capacity both remotely and within a clinical setting.

  • contribute to the delivery of a positive placement experience by providing on-going support and services for the HP throughout their placement
  • effectively and efficiently manage of clinical support in both a remote setting and face-to-face
  • working with Clinical team to oversee ongoing professional and career development of HPs through clinical support, education, training and mentoring
  • develop and maintain positive relationships with health services as well as other key stakeholders such as business partners, external clients, suppliers and potential future HPs.

 

Experience, qualifications and documentation required: 
  • have tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse, with current AHPRA registration or equivalent
  • have recent clinical experience working in remote Central Australia and the Barkly Region
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • provide a personal, knowledgeable and supportive environment for HPs to thrive
  • have an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
  • have an understanding of working in a remote clinical setting within the Northern Territory
  • demonstrate initiative and the ability to work autonomously at times
  • plan, develop and implement educational programs and other initiatives
  • demonstrate the ability to liaise and create positive relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • demonstrate your ability to use the Microsoft suite of programs or your ability to adapt and learn to use these programs proficiently.
