Description

The Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) recruits and supports urban based health professionals for short-term paid placements in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory.

RAHC is seeking an experienced Remote Area Nurse to work as our Clinical Coordinator for Central Australia and Barkly, based in Alice Springs.  This role provides support to our health professionals while they are on placement in the region. 

 

Experience, qualifications and documentation required: 

To be successful you will have experience working in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory along with a commitment to supporting health professionals and working to achieve repeat placements and positive word of mouth.  The role will require you to build relationships with RAHC’s stakeholders to promote RAHC and respond effectively to their requests.

You will also be responsible for growing and coordinating our pool of Remote Educators and have an integral role in ensuring positive outcomes for our health professionals and the communities we work with.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $106,000. RAHC also offers the opportunity to work for a progressive organisation that is committed to making a significant contribution to improving Indigenous health.
